# Pricing and Fee Structure

This document provides detailed information about BagelPay’ fee structure for processing transactions, issuing payouts, and refunds and chargebacks. All fees outlined here will apply once a merchant’s account is live.

For the purpose of this document the following is the definition of a merchant and customer:

* **Merchant:** This refers to the merchant’s who are part of the Bagel Payments platform and selling their products using Bagel Payments as a reseller
* **Customer:** This refers to the customers who purchase the products offered by the merchants

## Payments **Fees** <a href="#pay-in-fees" id="pay-in-fees"></a>

When you make a sale using BagelPay, we take a small fee, known as the `“Payments Fees”`, to cover the costs of credit card transaction fees, currency conversion fees,taxes etc. The net sales will be paid out to your bank account.

The platform services fee is calculated on the total order value and collected when the order is placed.

Eg. For a customer from Spain buying a digital product worth $50 find the detailed pricing breakdown:

### Bank Account Payouts

BagelPay also supports payouts in USDC/USDT. This allows you to receive your funds quickly and securely in stablecoins, directly to your compatible wallet address.

The refund fee applies regardless of the reason for the refund.

How is the refund fee applied?

* The $1 covers payment processor and banking costs for handling refund requests.
* The refund fee applies **regardless of the reason** for the refund — whether it’s customer request, order cancellation, or operational error.

## **Chargeback & Disputes Fees** <a href="#refund-and-chargeback-fees" id="refund-and-chargeback-fees"></a>

A chargeback (also called a dispute) occurs when a cardholder contacts their bank to challenge a payment they believe is unauthorized, incorrect, or unsatisfactory.&#x20;

The bank reverses the transaction through the card network (Visa, Mastercard, etc.), and the amount is temporarily withdrawn from the merchant’s account.

The chargeback fee applies regardless of the outcome of the chargeback dispute.

The original transaction fee associated with the refunded or disputed transaction will still be applicable. There will be no reversal of this charge in case of refunds or disputes.

## Important Note on Payout Availability

Please note that if you have applied for a payout, we will only be able to execute your available balance on that date. There is a **`1-2 weekdays`** hold on any payments received on your account for risk assessment purposes.
